I saw this office last week and really just couldn’t get it out of my mind. I love so many things about it, but mostly that it seems like an indulgent, restful place to me. The daybed, piles of books, and fresh flowers all make it somewhere I could potentially spend the day without a care in the world. Don’t even mention the Hermes blanket… wait – I just did.
On one hand, this room brings me to a totally restful place, but on the other hand it give me slight anxiety about the antique daybed/settee that is in my office and I have yet to fully complete. I actually just had the thought that it might be pure madness that my ‘restful’ place is a place others might associate with work – my office. If only there was a place to lie down…
Don’t you just love it? Where has your restful place been lately?
Have a WONDERFUL Thursday!

There is no way I’d ever get work done- I’d be lounging on the day bed! Love this room, I’m sure I’d get a lot of novels read at least. Or naps
how fabulous is that chandelier. my restful place is my bedroom. it’s calming. but lately i have been hanging out in the kitchen a bit too much. i move my laptop from the office into the kitchen and work at the bar. i think i’m just enjoying having a new space.
This is a most gorgeous space! I’m a sucker for all white with pops of color and this was done perfectly!
I want to curl up on that daybed and be covered in books! I love it!
Thanks for sharing!
My restful place has been to retreat to one of my favourite cafe/photography galleries in Prague called Leica, to write, read, think and sip tea. (Outside of the house)
Sarah – It’s always nice to get outside the house for a little thinking!
Oh wow, that room is gorgeous! But, I don’t know if I could have a bed, even if it’s a day bed, in my office. Too much temptation to take a nap!
This space is gorgeous! It reminds me of how important it is to have a restful place. I’ve made a small smace in our bedroom a place for me to read etc. but I’ve used old furniture and haven’t given it the love and attention to make it my own. Investing time in finishing it is definitely a priority! This is beautiful inspiration.
Beautiful blog and posts! Would you like to follow each other?

P.S. Wish you an amazing weekend!
Love this room!
