ONE My dining room centerpiece right now with a turquoise antique tobacco tin, my favorite Jonathan Adler candle, and some purple flowering branches. TWO stacked boxes on my bedroom shelves THREE my kitchen sink where we stack our cutting boards and a little shot of color.
Exciting news! Today I’m announcing a new regular column! ‘Details With’ is going to showcase three detail photos from the homes of some of my favorite names in blogging and design. It’s short, sweet, and gives you a glimpse inside the homes of others (which we all secretly love). Whether it’s a little trinket, vignette, or decorative touch on a bigger piece, sometimes it’s the little things that make us happy in our homes.
Twice a month, we’ll feature the home of someone new, so keep coming back to see the small things in life that make us smile. I have someone special lined up for the first feature and you’re gonna love it!
Have a HAPPY Wednesday!
P.S. At 3pm today, stop by Second St East for Michelle’s seasonal column ‘Hump Day Happy Hour’ to see my first choice for summer sipping!

Oh, the new features sounds really neat and interesting.
I love this idea and the glimpses you shared are great! Nice punches of colour.
I have that candle at the bottom, but in Happiness and I love it! I keep buying new ones every time I finish it!
Where do you find these candles? The Lavender one sounds great!
Hi Joanna, The Eucalyptus Lavender candle is from Target!
I like the idea!
I love the centerpiece with the flowering branches. Perfect for early springtime.
I love little snippets of peoples homes! Just lovely
Love this feature idea! Your photography is beautiful. Love how clean and refreshing these images are.
This is a brilliant idea for a guest column … I’m love seeing the details of a person’s home. It’s really what makes the home beautiful
I love this! It’s all about the details isn’t it? Love seeing the little things that make other people’s homes special.
Great idea!

Love this new feature! I’m new to your blog (where have I been?!) but totally hooked.
