I’m taking off this morning for San Francisco to speak on a design and lifestyle panel for the Evernote Trunk Conference. I had a rough time packing, trying to decide which style to exude, and it got me thinking about the differences between east coast and west coast style. Matt told me that I shouldn’t start a war (haha) and bring up the age-old conundrum, so I won’t go into much detail, but won’t you share?
What is your stylistic preference?

East for sure. I love the clean crisp lines and color scheme.
I love the cool tones of the East Coast, but I like to add a pop of color from the West Coast as well. Guess that’s why I live in the middle (aka Texas).
i like that west coast style tends to be more chill than east coast!
That’s a touch choice! Based on those two pictures, west coast all. the. way. Which is funny, because I’ve never even been to the west coast
I live in Manhattan, but I love the west coast picture — it look so much more fresh and interesting to me than the east coast look!

Being from the California it’s not hard for me to choose… love the colors in the West Coast picture. If I may… A few tips for dress in SF; layers, layers, layers! It always tends to be foggy in the morning and evening (freezing at night!) but sun shines through mid-day. Bring a scarf, light sweater, and a some boots and you will be good to go! and if you have any time, you should drive south to Santa Cruz to visit the beautiful beaches and fun boardwalk (represent! SC). Have fun at your conference!
I gotta say, I’m an east coast girl through and through
