Graphic Contrast – or Clash?

I bought a rug that I had been eyeing for my kitchen.  With all wood floors, I felt the room could use the warmth of a textile, adding another layer to the scheme.  I loved the idea that this particular rug adds a graphic element and doesn’t soften the contrast that I like.

But now I’m wondering if the pattern adds a little too much contrast and there are too many things going on… What is your opinion?   Do you LOVE, HATE?

Was it boring before, or jolting now?

Leave a comment with your opinion!  Nice contrast, or clash?

I hope you all have a great weekend, I’m driving to nashville for my nephew’s 3rd birthday party!

I like the idea of the rug. If it seems too busy, ,maybe one with just a graphic border.

The rug absolutely makes it! Gives that finished touch that really completes the space. Powerful even though it is compact in dimension.
All you could add would be a supper in progress.
