Just a Splash { of Brass }

Some think brass and think old, traditional and gaudy. Others, like me think of vintage libraries with tufted leather chairs with cigar smoke filling the air like a scene out of Mad Men.

After thinking more about my master bedroom plans, I can’t seem to get brass accents off my mind.  I immediately want them everywhere, and I’m especially fond of the brass accents in the room above (click photo for link).  I love how just the little brass table is all the room needs, but adds a completely new layer of interest.

Maybe brass can be the hint of shine you need to liven up your space?
