With all the action that has been going on with the bedroom shelves, I almost forgot about the perfect find that I scouted for my living room.
I wanted a mid-century, natural, simple chair for a corner in our living room for a while now. Before, I was using a dining chair swung out into the spot as a placeholder until I found the mythological chair of my dreams. I honestly thought I would never find something that met all of my criteria, but I did. That is what patience and perseverance will get you.
It is exactly what I was looking for; an accent chair with enough personality to win me over, small enough to fit in our little nook, and comfy enough to easily seat an evening guest.

I love it! I’m obsessed with the idea of a reading nook. I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to them (to which I will be adding yours for sure). I’ve already been scouting out a little spot in my home for one. Time will tell if it will actually fit.

It’s funny that both you and Stephanie mentioned the pouf! I got it at the same place as the chair and it was one of those things that I just couldn’t decide on. Finally my friend asked me if I’d still be thinking about it after we left. My answer was ‘yes’ so I got it and am SO glad I did!
This is a great spot. I love those chairs. And that pouf is amazing. Also, I think I have that same lamp from Ikea, but your styling makes it look so much better.

Hi Lupita, It’s from a store called Southeastern Salvage – There are locations throughout the south and mid-south. It’s like an overstock store, but they have some great things!
