Finally I’ve narrowed down the dining chair that I want! The Wegner Wishbone ‘Y’ chair is so beautifully simple and modern, but won’t look out-of-place in an old farmhouse. Unfortunately, they’re around $900 a pop, so (although it pains me to say) I’ll be scouting some replicas for my personal dining room.
On my home tour, I showed you the dining room with my ‘placeholder’ chairs that were $20 each from Target purchased until I made my final dining chair decision. I’m still a little up in the air on color, but I’m heavily leaning toward the black. Thoughts?
Now off to search for a cost efficient version (I need 8 after all!).
Have a BRILLIANT Tuesday, guys!

Those are gorgeous! But ouch on the price! Looking back at your dining room, I actually think you could go black or white. Although if you went with a chair like those, it’s nice that the chair isn’t all one color … the seat breaks it up nicely.
Love your sense of style. Gorgeous blog!

So, you think I should do black!?
Black was the first one I saw. I photoshopped the different finishes into the photo of your table and I think black goes well the other accents in the room. White goes if you leave the upholstered chair. I wonder with the wide backs if the table will fit 8 chairs.
I have two 36″ (each) leaves which I use on holidays and for dinner parties! I don’t even think that 6 would fit w/o the leaves… I’m thinking maybe I could start with four and work my way up!
