Take the Time to Slow Down

While things this week can get really crazy and overwhelming, take a moment to relax.  Sit in the quiet and relish in the beauty of the season.

I’m talking myself into this each step of the way until Saturday, trying not to lose sight of the joy and peace that we have within ourselves to share with each other.

It’s going to be a push to the finish this week.  Work is reaching its peak of insanity and the holiday hustle and bustle is also at full steam.  There is a point, however, when I just need to say, “It’s done” and stop running around trying to start something new.

What about you?  Are you slowing down for the holiday season, or just speeding up?

Have a PEACEFUL Wednesday.

Thanks so much. Your post was just what I needed to hear. I think the stress of getting things done has made me lose sight of why I love this time of year so much.

Elisha- Glad I could help :) I just keep thinking, “slow down” over and over in my head when I get that frenzied feeling.

I’m trying sooooo hard to slow down ;) . I let the last couple weeks just be super crazy so I would have a chance to not be rushed through this week. So far, I think it’s working!

Oh I really needed this, I can’t even tell you! It’s been so insane for me too, work-wise. Something about the end of the year makes everyone rush on projects they’ve been sitting on. I try to keep it all in perspective but it can get discouraging when you just don’t have enough hours in the day! (As I sit here commenting on a blog…LOL) Thanks for this, I will slow down and be in the moment of it all. xoxo

Nice reminder. I feel like I’m about to lose my mind…I definitely need to slow it down. And beautiful pictures!
